Today, Impact Ranch, located on Amon Carter Lake in Bowie, Texas, provides a place for teen boys to hear from God, grow in faith and mature in biblical manhood.
Since the summer of 2012 numerous young men have lived and worked together through our “signature” one-week summer program known as The Journey. Leaving the luxuries of home for the refuge of 120 acres of wilderness; a select group of teenage boys work, eat, play, learn, rest and reflect in community as significant seeds of godly character are planted.
The primary goal of the program is to help young Christian men grow in awareness of godly character and integrity so they are able to boldly move into the next season of their lives equipped for the charge of Micah 6:8: “He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?”
In addition to The Journey, Impact Ranch will host retreats and conferences for youth pastors, churches, Christian schools and other Christian organizations whose members desire to draw closer to God through silence, solitude, prayer and fellowship. In the future, the site will also be equipped to facilitate training for corporate and non-profit leadership teams seeking a “wilderness experience” in North Texas.
Big Red, our 6,000 square foot meeting facility, can accommodate up to 100 people for events and catered meals. Two rustic cabins, equipped with kitchens, full baths and lakefront views, can accommodate up to twelve people. Short-term plans include building additional cabins to allow Impact Ranch to accommodate up to 100 people for future overnight camps, retreats and conferences.

The 118 acre site is located just 90 minutes from the DFW Metroplex near Bowie, Texas on Amon Carter Lake. With approximately 20 acres of usable, rustic, sprawling, wooded grounds, the land is ideally suited for the intense, character-building, wilderness programs that the ranch will implement. Additionally, the lakefront feature of the property will enable the Infinite Impact Ranch to be used for a diversity of ministry and commercial events.
